Who we are
Mission Sun was constituted near the end of 2021 to develop the next-generation inverter for utility-scale solar. Mission Sun’s founding team consists of experienced scientists and technologists who have a history of success in developing transformational technology products. Before Mission Sun, our team developed a high-power electric motor that was half the size of any others in the world and delivered them to Bosch, Siemens, and others. Mission Sun is located in the shadow of Clarkson University where the founders have close relationships with many of the faculty and staff, enabling the infusion of even broader technical expertise into the company.
